Shirley's art path has been woven with much joy.  Through her interest in art she met her husband Ralph Oberg, a very accomplished  landscape and wildlife artist.   Ralph and Shirley make their home in Colorado surrounded by beautiful   views of  the mountains and ever expanding flower gardens.  Shirley is totally absorbed by her garden and love of painting, she admits to being "addicted to art."

Shirley loves to garden and she spends a lot of time in her garden studying the beauty of nature.  She then brings what she has learned to the canvas giving life to a two dimensional media.
